Sophie Brummitt MA PG Dip
Painting Conservator
Sophie trained at the Courtauld Institute of Art gaining a Post Graduate diploma in the Conservation of Easel Paintings.
Prior to this she graduated from Reading University with a BA hons in History of Art and Architecture before gaining a MA in Heritage Management from the University of Birmingham at the Ironbridge Institute.
Experience. Whilst training, Sophie gained experience completing a Summer internship at Tate London and at the Greenwich Maritime Museum. .
She also completed other short placements in private studios in London and at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery
Since graduating Sophie has worked as a Painting Conservator in a private painting conservation studio in Oxfordshire. Sophie is a member of ICON, the BAPCR and of IIC. Contact us for new project »
